Pay Scale: $17-$19/hr.

Summary: Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care.

FBC is a 24-hour Residential Service, open 365 days a year.

• Provides supervision and monitoring of each consumer. Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills.
• Document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.
• Participate in Shift Report
• Provide transportation
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Special Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills and belief in consumer’s ability to recover.

Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments.

Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families.

Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.

A desire to work with individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience with the population served and/or crisis experience.

AA degree or a BS/ BA degree preferred.

Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
