Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Dubai.
The Fashion Designer will translate Antigen’s artistic vision into distinctive apparel and stagewear, creating looks that align with the brand’s musical and visual identity.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, sketching and refining outfits, selecting textiles and trims, and coordinating embroidery or other embellishments as needed.
The role involves overseeing fittings, collaborating with tailors and production partners, and adjusting garments to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and performance-readiness.
The Fashion Designer will also support styling for performances, appearances, and shoots, while staying current with streetwear, hip hop, and regional fashion trends.
Qualifications
- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with a portfolio demonstrating contemporary, performance-ready, and brand-aligned designs.
- Hands-on experience with Textiles and Embroidery, including selecting fabrics and embellishments suitable for stage and everyday wear.
- Proficiency in Fitting, including garment adjustments and collaboration with tailors to achieve precise fits.
- Ability to translate artistic direction into cohesive collections and individual looks that reflect hip hop and Emirati cultural influences.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar) and basic technical drawing skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with artists, stylists, and production teams on-site in Dubai.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in fashion, costume, or stagewear design.
- Experience in music, entertainment, or streetwear fashion environments is a plus.
