Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Farm Agriculture Administrator role based in Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Qatar.
The Farm Agriculture Administrator will oversee day-to-day farm office activities, including maintaining records of crop production, livestock, inventory, purchases, and sales.
The role will coordinate with farm supervisors and workers to schedule activities such as planting, irrigation, harvesting, and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
The administrator will manage documentation related to procurement, vendor relationships, and logistics, and assist with budget tracking, cost control, and basic financial reporting.
Daily tasks also include preparing reports, updating databases, handling correspondence, supporting audits or inspections, and contributing to continuous improvements in farm processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, recordkeeping, document management, and report preparation.
- Experience with basic accounting or bookkeeping tasks such as tracking expenses, managing invoices, and monitoring budgets.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and comfort learning farm management or ERP systems.
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture, farm operations, or a related field, with an understanding of crop or livestock workflows considered an advantage.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with farm owners, supervisors, workers, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work on-site in Al Khor and Al Thakhira, adapt to rural or farm environments, and support operational needs as they arise.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages used locally is an advantage.
