About the Role
We are a private family British Indian with one 10 month child and 3 small dogs ), seeking an exceptional all-in-one professional to join us as a Family Assistant, and Educator-Nanny.
This is a deeply integrated role for someone highly organized, nurturing, and proactive - someone who can manage a home like clockwork while lovingly guiding children through their daily routines, activities, and learning.
You will be at the heart of the family’s operations, ensuring the household runs smoothly, children thrive emotionally and educationally, and everyday life is well-coordinated.
Family & Personal Assistant
- Organize travel: book flights, hotels, transport, visas
- Manage the family calendar, appointments, and reminders
- Plan and coordinate events, holidays, birthdays, and social gatherings
- Handle online orders, grocery lists, and errands
- Act as the point of contact for vendors, schools, tutors, and other service providers
Household & Staff Management
- Oversee and supervise 2 full-time housemaids
- Monitor and manage household inventories (groceries, baby supplies, toiletries, cleaning products)
- Coordinate household maintenance, repairs, and utility services with tracked budget for expenses
- Maintain home cleanliness standards in cooperation with the maids
- Develop routines, checklists, and smooth systems for daily tasks and food menus for each family member with their own diets
Nanny & Childcare Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day care routines for baby girl
- Provide a warm, structured, and emotionally supportive environment
- Support healthy sleep, feeding, hygiene, and behavior routines
- Engage in educational activities, reading, games, and age-appropriate play
- Create a daily plan that includes learning time, creative play, outdoor activity, and quiet time and reading
- Accompany to/from school, extracurriculars, and appointments as needed
- Support homework, early learning, language development, and discipline
- Assist in teaching manners, independence, empathy, and responsibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar private family roles
- Proven background in:
- Nanny/childcare (infants through school age)
- Home/household management
- Family or personal assistance
- Childcare qualifications or certifications highly desirable
- First Aid & CPR (children & infants)
- Early Childhood Education, Montessori, or similar (a plus)
- Fluent in English (additional languages such a a Spanish or French bonus) English accent must be good
- Strong organizational skills; naturally proactive and tidy
- Emotionally intelligent, respectful, patient, and trustworthy
- Tech-savvy (able to use Google Calendar, WhatsApp, online bookings, etc.)
- Flexible, discreet, and loyal — able to adapt to the family’s evolving needs
- Willing to travel with family ideally have a visa or passport for UK and US entry
