Family Cook – Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh daily meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages for the family.
• Plan weekly menus based on family preferences, dietary needs, and nutritional requirements.
• Cook a variety of cuisines including Arabic, Indian, Continental, and other requested dishes.
• Prepare meals for special occasions, family gatherings, and guests when required.
• Purchase groceries, fresh ingredients, and kitchen supplies as needed.
• Monitor kitchen stock and maintain proper inventory of food items.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food products.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies, or health-based meal plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a family cook, private cook, or household chef.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and meal planning.
• Ability to cook multiple cuisines.
• Honest, reliable, well-organized, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Physically fit and able to work in a residential environment.
