🎯 The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Factory Manager
- to oversee all factory operations, drive manufacturing performance, and ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of goods.
- The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional factory teams, optimize production processes, manage resources, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
- 🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement factory operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives, production targets, and business growth plans
- Oversee all factory operations including production, maintenance, quality assurance, inventory management, warehousing, and facility management
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, cost targets, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved
- Lead production planning, workforce management, capacity planning, equipment utilization, and material flow optimization to maximize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, supply chain, logistics, quality, finance, and executive leadership to support factory performance and strategic initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), production output, yield, downtime, quality performance, labor productivity, safety, and manufacturing costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturing standards, health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and quality management systems
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, Kaizen, and operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
- Analyze factory performance data, identify operational bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Manage factory budgets, capital expenditure projects, operational expenses, equipment investments, and workforce planning activities
- Develop and maintain factory procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational policies, and performance reporting systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, manufacturing managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and operational staff while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Prepare factory performance reports, operational dashboards, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- ✅ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent are advantageous
- 7+ years of experience in factory management, manufacturing operations, plant management, production leadership, or related roles
- 3+ years of experience leading manufacturing facilities, factory operations, or large production teams preferred
- Strong understanding of factory operations, manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, maintenance, inventory control, workplace safety, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), production planning software, manufacturing analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, leadership, organizational, financial, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and team leadership abilities
- Ability to lead large-scale factory operations while balancing safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
