Factory Manager

About This Role

Job Purpose:

A UAE-based provider of advanced security technologies, delivering solutions across tax verification, fuel integrity, telecom monitoring, and bio-surveillance.

We are seeking a hands-on, shop-floor-focused Factory Manager to lead all aspects of factory operations at our new Abu Dhabi tax stamps production site. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience running a factory, preferably in security printing or high-security manufacturing, and will be deeply involved in planning, order management, procurement, production, quality, and logistics. This is not a desk job — we’re looking for someone who thrives on the shop floor, leads by example, and drives operational excellence through LEAN principles, ERP (SAP) mastery, and strong interpersonal leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production planning, ensuring alignment with customer demand and operational capacity.
• Manage Procurement activities, order processing and fulfillment, coordinating across departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead daily factory operations, maintaining optimal production flow and resolving bottlenecks.
• Ensure quality control standards are met and continuously improved.
• Supervise logistics and inventory, optimizing material flow and warehouse operations.
• Be a visible leader on the shop floor, coaching teams and solving problems in real time.
• Drive LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) for tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and regulatory standards.

Educational and Technical Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing factory operations, ideally in security printing, packaging, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in planning, order management, production, quality, and logistics.
• Proven experience with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Highly hands-on, with a strong presence on the shop floor.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving capability.
• Culturally aware, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions.

Language Skills:

Written and spoken English is essential. Arabic is a plus
