Factory Manager

Role overview

Factory operations and production

• Manage cutting, CNC processing, edge profiling, polishing, finishing, and fabrication of marble, granite, porcelain, and other natural stone materials.
• Plan production schedules and supervise factory supervisors, machine operators, fabricators, polishers, and other production staff.
• Review shop drawings, cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication details; coordinate with project, quantity surveying, procurement, and site teams.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, stock, production costs, and factory performance; prepare production reports.
• Maintain quality-control procedures and ensure products meet approved drawings, samples, and project specifications.
• Maintain machinery and equipment, enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards, and identify productivity and cost improvements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in marble and natural stone fabrication, including factory management or production supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of marble cutting, polishing, CNC machinery, edge finishing, and stone fabrication processes.
• Proven experience managing factory operations, production teams, and multiple project requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists.
• Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, material utilization, and cost management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• UAE construction, marble, or fit-out industry experience is highly preferred.

Compensation

• Pay starts at AED 8,000 per month; salary is based on experience and qualifications.
