This is a part-time, remote role for a Facility Operations Manager.
The Facility Operations Manager will oversee daily facility operations, ensuring that physical assets, systems, and services run efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities
include coordinating and monitoring preventive maintenance activities, managing service providers and contractors, and responding to operational issues or incidents in a timely manner.
The role involves developing and implementing facility procedures, tracking performance metrics, and recommending improvements to enhance safety, cost efficiency, and user experience.
The Facility Operations Manager will collaborate with leadership and relevant stakeholders to align facility operations with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including the ability to lead, guide, and evaluate service providers and remote teams.
- Proficiency in facilities operations and Facility Management (FM), with experience managing building systems, services, and vendor relationships.
- Solid background in operations management, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and optimizing processes and resources.
- Demonstrated experience with preventive maintenance, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up to minimize downtime.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with facility management software, maintenance tracking tools, or related digital platforms is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in facilities management, engineering, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to facility operations is beneficial.
