The Engineering Facility Administrator supports the hotel's Engineering Department through administrative work and engineering inventory storekeeping.
The role is based in the context of IHG's Doha hotel operations.
Administrative duties
- Coordinate and distribute work orders to technical staff and perform day-to-day secretarial tasks.
- Distribute documents and information promptly, arrange appointments, and translate incoming materials as needed.
- Safekeep contracts, financial records, energy reports, and regional files.
- Follow up on monthly reporting from regional hotels and assist with regional director administration.
- Oversee use of department stationery and the photocopy machine.
Inventory and storekeeping
- Store merchandise under suitable conditions and verify quantities of incoming materials.
- Maintain an inventory system with item labels, names, issue units, and minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Issue goods against completed storeroom requisitions, record requisitions, and provide copies to recipients.
- Verify reorder-point items against physical stock before submitting reorder lists to the Director of Engineering or delegate.
- Prepare monthly store inventory reports and follow storekeeping accounting rules.
