Role Overview
The Facilities Manager oversees building maintenance and service providers to keep facilities operating smoothly and efficiently.
The role is listed as part-time, with an on-site / hybrid work arrangement in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance schedules, and building services.
- Keep offices, buildings, equipment, and common areas safe and functional.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and external service providers.
- Monitor facilities budgets, operating expenses, and maintenance costs.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and building compliance.
- Track maintenance performance, service quality, and operational KPIs.
- Improve energy efficiency, service delivery, and cost control.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in facilities or building operations management.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, contractor coordination, and facilities operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple service priorities.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field is preferred.
- CMMS, building management systems, or facilities certification experience is advantageous.
