The Canadian Food Inspection Agency's Corporate Management Branch is recruiting one Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in Ottawa, Ontario.
The position reports to the Facility Manager.
Salary
- Salary is $38.21 to $41.50 per hour; salary is under review.
Duties
- Supervise the Maintenance Analyst, Building Systems Operators, and Instrument Technician.
- Ensure safe and effective operation of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems and onsite mechanical systems.
- Supervise and schedule preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs for site equipment and systems.
Employment conditions
- Reliability Status security clearance is required.
- Applicants must have legal status to accept employment in Canada for the entire employment period.
- Adherence to CFIA conduct, conflict of interest, and public-sector values and ethics policies is required.
- Medical evaluations, shift or irregular-hours availability, overtime, a valid driver's license, safety equipment use, and immunization may be required.
