Job Description

• Coordinate all site related activities with the Main Contractor and Other Trades.
• Provides the necessary input for preparation of programs of work by the Planning Engineer.
• Ensure the progress of all the work activities in accordance with the agreed program.
• Follow-up the Design Development with the requirements of the project.
• Prioritize the Technical Detail Development to achieve timely submission of drawings for approval.
• Making decisions pertaining to day to day project activities in coordination with the Project Managers.
• Follow-up the Materials for procurement.
• Ensures the factory production and material deliveries to the site and coordinate with the agreed programme, progress of the works and needs of the project.
• Determines the Optimum Methodology of executing the works to minimize the cost and to maximize safe working conditions.
• Coordinate with the Installation Supervisors for the provision of all labor, supervision, survey and equipment for installation requirements.
• Takes delivery of survey marks, levels and other data related to setting out of the works and to transmit this information to the Surveyor.
• Ensures an adequate stock of materials, consumables, fasteners and bulk items is maintained.
• Checks the consumption of items in accordance with the allocation.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Sub-Contractors.
• Ensures the works are strictly installed according to the drawings and details then advise the Design Team on any changes required.
• Coordinate with the factory on the delivery of site materials on day to day basis.
• Records all instruction irrespective of whether it is deemed to have a cost / time implication or not.
• Ensures that any equipment, labor or material expended in the performance of an instruction is adequately recorded and acknowledged.
• Coordinate means of access to the works face.
• Coordinate materials hoisting equipment.
• Manage all stages of component of installation.
• Knowledge in speaking and writing English are required.
