Sheet metal fabrication
- Laser cutting machine knowledge is a must.
- Press brake operation and bending fundamentals are listed as key knowledge.
- TIG, MIG, spot, and laser welding knowledge is included in the assessment checklist.
- CAD skills to design or modify parts are needed; SolidWorks is a bonus.
Organization and leadership
- Plan production loads.
- Report issues and progress to management.
- Manage blue-collar workers according to their capabilities.
- Implement job card processes and ensure follow-through.
- Maintain a can-do attitude and a strict, authoritative presence on the shop floor.
Requirements
