Guest service duties may include setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, serving and interacting with guests, and cleaning work areas and supplies.
Service responsibilities
- Set tables, communicate with the kitchen, interact with and serve guests, and make transactions part of a positive guest experience.
- Clean work areas and supplies.
- Follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards, and maintain professional appearance and communications.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications and physical demands
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is preferred; no supervisory experience is specified.
- No license or certification is specified.
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Read and visually verify menu information; lift up to 25 pounds without assistance or 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, and bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
