Role Description
The F&B General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and profitable performance.
The role includes managing daily restaurant and outlet activities, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of service, hygiene, and product quality.
The F&B General Manager will develop and implement operating procedures, menus, and promotional activities, monitor budgets, and optimize costs and revenue.
The role also involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, analyzing sales data, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
The F&B General Manager will lead, train, and mentor team members, foster a positive work environment, and collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations, including restaurant or hotel F&B management.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, revenue management, and basic financial reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance with local health regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback professionally.
- Ability to plan and organize work, prioritize competing demands, and solve operational problems effectively.
- Experience in menu planning, pricing strategies, and implementing promotional and marketing activities for F&B outlets.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and standard office software; familiarity with F&B management systems is an advantage.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred; fluency in English required, Arabic language skills are an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
