Export Control Officer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Export Control framework at Dukhan airbase.
• Provide day-to-day advice on Export Control regulatory and procedural requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits for Main Operating Base departments.
• Conduct Export Control investigations, draft disclosure letters, and identify corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and lessons-learned reviews.
• Identify Export Control risks and mitigation strategies and support risk reviews.
• Develop and deliver local export control training.

• Contribute as a specialist adviser in a critical area of expertise.
• Conduct accurate investigations and agree clear, achievable corrective actions.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Typically hold a degree or have relevant business experience.

Desirable Knowledge

• Knowledge of Export Control laws and regulations and their application to business activities is desirable.
• Knowledge of company products, services, software, technical information, and relevant control lists is desirable.

Key Accountabilities

• Support Export Control compliance activities within the Main Operating Base facility.
• Support in-country assurance activities and provide visibility of audit and improvement status.
• Liaise with stakeholders to deliver strategic Export Control objectives.
• Support preparation and delivery of Export Control performance reports.
