Key Responsibilities

• · Video Production:
• Capture and edit video footage to create compelling and high-quality videos for educational and promotional purposes.
• Work with various video formats, including footage shot on professional cameras, smartphones, and other devices.
• Coordinate with faculty and staff to schedule and conduct video shoots.
• Shoot videos for seminars, small workshops, YouTube videos
• · Post-Production:
• Perform video editing tasks, including cutting, color correction, sound mixing, and adding graphics/effects.
• Ensure all videos adhere to the institution’s brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content.
• · Content Development:
• Collaborate with the content development team to create engaging scripts and storyboards.
• Assist in developing creative concepts for video projects that align with the institution’s goals and objectives.
• · Technical Expertise:
• Maintain and organize video equipment, software, and other tools necessary for video production.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing software and techniques.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and post-production processes.
• · Project Management:
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Track and report on the progress of video projects to the Director of Media and Communications.
• Maintain an organized archive of all video projects and raw footage.

Qualifications

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
• **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
• **Creative Skills:** Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• **Attention to Detail:** Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• **Team Player:** Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of faculty, staff, and students.
• **Time Management:** Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
