Experienced Main Line Automotive Technician

Bell Ford is hiring an Experienced Main Line Automotive Technician to join our high‑volume, well‑established Ford service department .

We’re looking for a skilled, motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to maximize earning potential in a fast‑paced environment with consistent workflow.

• Diagnose and repair Ford vehicles, including engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Utilize factory scan tools and service information to accurately identify vehicle concerns
• Complete warranty repairs in accordance with Ford policies and procedures
• Perform customer‑pay repairs efficiently with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Stay current with Ford technology and vehicle systems, including hybrid and EV platforms (if applicable)
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, recommended repairs, and timelines
• Provide repair explanations that support customer trust and repair approval
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, shop foremen, and management
• Maintain strong flagged hours and productivity in a high‑volume shop environment
• Properly manage time and prioritize multiple repair orders
• Follow dealership workflow processes to meet repair deadlines
• Conduct road tests and final inspections as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and dealership standards
• Uphold dealership standards for professionalism, attendance, and teamwork

• 3+ years of main line or advanced automotive technician experience
• Prior Ford dealership experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical skills
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Must provide own tools
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to multitask in a high‑volume shop environment

• Flat‑rate commission pay with no income cap
