Responsibilities

  • Develop overall project schedule with Project Manager
  • Create 90-day and 3-week schedules
  • Manage deadlines
  • Quality control – understand the drawings/specifications and tolerances, communicate with Foremen, Crews and Subcontractors
  • Lead resources in daily execution of planned work, focusing on safe productivity
  • Coordinate with Foremen for Daily Schedule
  • Operations planning – coordinate with Project Manager and Project Engineer
  • Provide training to Foremen and craft workers to provide advancement opportunities
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors
  • Coordinate and communicate with Owners/Clients
  • Track cost in cooperation with Project Engineer (time sheets, quantities)
  • Order equipment, materials, etc.
  • Provide Job Hazard Analysis prior to new work activities and review with the crew

Qualifications

  • Experience 15 years of Bridge/Heavy Highway experience in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be willing to work safely and lead by example
  • OSHA 10 certified
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project deadlines
