The bakery is seeking an experienced Baker & Pastry Chef to independently manage daily production and operations.
Recipes are developed and provided by Let’s Fika; the role follows them accurately to maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cinnamon buns, cardamom buns, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
- Follow established recipes and preparation methods for consistent quality and presentation.
- Prepare dough, fillings, creams, and other pastry components from scratch.
- Manage daily bakery production and kitchen operations independently.
- Plan production schedules and complete orders on time.
- Handle bulk orders for corporate clients, events, and catering.
- Monitor inventory, manage ingredient stock, and minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food-safety standards.
- Store and handle ingredients and finished products properly.
- Coordinate production planning and operational needs with management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional baking or pastry experience.
- Strong experience with yeast-based dough, buns, cakes, and pastries.
- Ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately and manage production and multiple orders independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Artisan or European-style bakery experience is preferred.
- Scandinavian baking experience is advantageous but not required.
- Good communication skills in English.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500–4,500 per month.

- Work location is in person.
