Position purpose
Design, develop, and deliver next-generation AI solutions that improve enterprise business processes.
Build intelligent applications and secure, scalable, maintainable cloud-native solutions for automation, knowledge discovery, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy enterprise AI applications, LLM/RAG solutions, AI agents, backend services, and REST APIs.
- Integrate enterprise systems through APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Build OCR and document extraction, vector search, semantic retrieval, and knowledge base solutions.
- Deploy and optimize applications in Kubernetes environments; contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with business partners and participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical planning.
- Mentor team members and promote quality, testing, security, observability, and maintainability.
Education and experience
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Experience with cloud-native applications, distributed systems, REST APIs, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, vector search, embeddings, and semantic retrieval.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools, Agile methods, Git-based source control, and CI/CD.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong Python proficiency and knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application design.
- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agents, LangGraph, LangChain, Azure AI Foundry, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
- Knowledge of document processing, OCR, knowledge ingestion, GitLab CI/CD, IaC, and automated deployments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Compensation
- Base salary range is $115,037 to $167,666; salary depends on factors including location, experience, responsibilities, qualifications, and business needs.
