Job Summary
With business interests in shipping, logistics, travel, machinery, energy, chemicals and manufacturing, this diverse group of companies delivers sustainable excellence throughout the Arabian Gulf.
The candidate must have good experience and knowledge about logistics and will be responsible for providing support to customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Opening new jobs for cash and credit customers and assisting in customs clearance and processing Customs Bill.
- Able to handle shipping lines, airlines and other freight management companies.
- Maintain acknowledge register for invoices delivered to customers.
- Responsible for generating leads by business development for the services provided by the company.
- Getting required approval for opening jobs under cash account.
- Arranging transportation and follow-up.
- Updating with job with cost / provisions accordingly.
- Generating invoices to customers after completion of job.
- Generate payment requests for suppliers / vendors invoices.
- Adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
Skills and qualifications required
- Must have a valid UAE driver’s license.
- Should have knowledge of the UAE customs and procedures.
- Able to handle shipping lines/ airlines/ fright management companies.
- Prior sales or business development experience in a logistics or freight forwarding company, would be preferred.
- Must have good communication skills in English.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a freight forwarding company based in the UAE – Dubai or Abu Dhabi, Fujairah.
