Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, BMS, plumbing, and fire and life-safety systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to approved schedules and SOPs.
• Respond to breakdowns and complaints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Inspect equipment daily and monitor operating parameters of critical systems.
• Coordinate with AMC/OEM vendors and supervise site maintenance activities.
• Maintain PPM schedules, equipment logs, service reports, and breakdown records.
• Support statutory inspections, audits, emergency drills, and compliance activities.
• Follow EHS requirements, including PTW, LOTO, PPE, and safe work practices.
• Monitor energy and utility consumption and support energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Provide technical support during emergencies, shutdowns, and critical facility operations.

Qualifications and skills

• Diploma, ITI, or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant facilities management or building operations experience.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination.
• Good communication, documentation, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and CMMS or Helpdesk systems.
