Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Contact the appropriate person or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as needed to resolve guest calls, requests, or issues.
• Use sales techniques that optimize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including up-selling.
• Determine and grant guest gifts as thanks for being customers (e.g., reward points, show tickets, gift certificates).
• Promote brand image awareness internally and externally.
• Process requests to cancel Marriott Rewards program points.
• Process all room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards program information using the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
• Answer, register, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Perform general office tasks to support Sales and Marketing (e.g., filing, emailing, transcribing information, sending faxes).
• Assist management in training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation.

Desired Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent certificate.
• Related work experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience: Not required.
• License or certification: None.
