As the Executive, Pricing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies that align with our business objectives.
This role requires a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to negotiate favorable rates with carriers.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for various modes of transportation.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for pricing optimization.
- Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, and other service providers to ensure cost-effective pricing.
- Formulate and continuously update proposal/quotation formats with proper terms and conditions.
- Conduct pricing analysis to evaluate the profitability and competitiveness of existing pricing structures, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Monitor and assess market conditions, maintaining a vendor list based on reliability and rate competitiveness. Assist with onboarding new vendors via application submission.
- Support the sales team with customized pricing solutions and assist in closing deals.
- Monitor pricing performance and analyze the impact of changes on revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to implement strategies and provide guidance on pricing inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pricing best practices to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- **Formal Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven work experience in pricing, shipping, or logistics.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret financial data.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
