Job Overview:-
- The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a senior executive reporting to the CEO, CFO, and Strategic Advisor. The role leads commercial strategy, financial planning, capital management, investor relations, and Board-level decision support across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial leadership on strategic initiatives, transactions, partnerships, and capital raisings.
- Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modelling, and financial planning.
- Lead investor and analyst engagement, market communications, and capital markets activities.
- Prepare Board papers, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor commercial performance, risks, and market opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years' experience in corporate finance, investment banking, corporate strategy, or senior commercial roles.
- Strong mining/resources sector and capital markets experience.
- Advanced financial modelling, strategic analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
Location
- Based in Brisbane or Sydney with regular travel, including Papua New Guinea. Hybrid work arrangements available.
