Job Description** **THIS ROLE
A comprehensive corporate secretarial and compliance role responsible for managing end‑to‑end governance, regulatory, and administrative activities across client portfolios, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, full regulatory compliance, efficient operational processes, and effective support to management and junior team members
What You Will Do
- You’ll manage and deliver complex corporate secretarial and governance tasks, including board and shareholder meetings, resolutions, statutory filings, and maintaining accurate records across systems and client files
- You’ll oversee corporate actions and transactions (e.g., share distributions, auditor changes, bank account setups, investments), coordinating with legal, accounting, regulators, and external stakeholders
- You’ll ensure strong compliance by performing AML/KYC/CDD checks, supporting regulatory reporting, maintaining risk tools, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, policies, and governance frameworks
- You’ll support operational effectiveness by handling payments, invoicing, cash collection, insurance processes, reporting, and system updates while identifying and driving process improvements
- You’ll deliver high-quality client service by coaching junior team members, supporting management on projects and inspections, proactively resolving issues, and demonstrating strong organisation, communication, accuracy, and ownership

- **Qualifications** **ABOUT YOU**
- You hold a relevant qualification, such as a degree, ICSA certification, or are partly qualified ACA/ACCA (minimum Level 2)
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a global business environment
- You have practical experience in corporate administration and secretarial matters.
- You possess sound knowledge of the Companies Act, Financial Services Act, and relevant legislation applicable to global business in Mauritius
- You have working knowledge of systems such as Microgen 5Series to support efficient administration and reporting
