Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef for Bakery and Pastry role based in Doha, Qatar.

The Executive Chef will oversee daily bakery and pastry operations, including planning production schedules, supervising baking and pastry teams, and ensuring consistent product quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include developing and standardizing recipes, managing ingredient ordering and inventory, and implementing food safety and hygiene standards in line with company and regulatory requirements.

The role involves training and mentoring team members, coordinating with other departments to meet client and production demands, and introducing new bakery and pastry items aligned with market trends and customer needs.

The Executive Chef will also monitor costs, minimize waste, and support continuous improvement in production processes and kitchen organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Bakery and Baking, with proven experience producing a variety of breads and pastry products at professional or industrial scale.
  • Demonstrated Culinary Skills and Cooking experience, with the ability to develop, test, and refine recipes for consistent quality.
  • Solid Food Preparation knowledge, including portioning, ingredient handling, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Previous leadership experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or food production facility, including team supervision and training.
  • Formal culinary or pastry education or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting production deadlines and quality targets.
  • Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
