Events Sales Executive - Job Description

Main purpose

The role is to **generate revenue by selling event spaces, packages, and services** (especially in hotels or event companies).

Key Responsibilities

  • Typical duties include:
  • Sales & business development
  • Find new clients (companies, weddings, conferences, etc.)
  • Promote event packages, meeting rooms, and hotel services
  • Meet monthly/annual **sales targets**
  • Client relationship management
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Handle inquiries, proposals, and negotiations
  • Ensure repeat business from existing clients
  • Event planning coordination
  • Work with internal teams (F&B, operations, finance)
  • Prepare event proposals and contracts
  • Coordinate events before, during, and after execution
  • Strategy & market awareness
  • Track competitors and market trends
  • Suggest pricing, promotions, and improvements
  • Attend site visits and client meetings
