Events Sales Executive - Job Description
Main purpose
The role is to generate revenue by selling event spaces, packages, and services (especially in hotels or event companies).
Key responsibilities
Typical duties include:
Sales & business development
- Find new clients (companies, weddings, conferences, etc.)
- Promote event packages, meeting rooms, and hotel services
- Meet monthly/annual sales targets
Client relationship management
- Build long-term relationships with clients
- Handle inquiries, proposals, and negotiations
- Ensure repeat business from existing clients
- Event planning coordination
- Work with internal teams (F&B, operations, finance)
- Prepare event proposals and contracts
- Coordinate events before, during, and after execution
Strategy & market awareness
- Track competitors and market trends
- Suggest pricing, promotions, and improvements
- Attend site visits and client meetings
