Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Events Director to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events.
This role is responsible for managing the full event lifecycle—from concept development to post-event analysis—while ensuring exceptional attendee experiences and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with company objectives
- Plan and oversee corporate events, conferences, product launches, and special functions
- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective execution
- Lead and mentor the events team, including coordinators and support staff
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and external partners to maximize event impact
- Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and service providers
- Ensure all events comply with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor event performance and analyze feedback for continuous improvement
- Oversee logistics including venue setup, catering, audiovisuals, and transportation
- Handle on-site event management and troubleshoot issues in real time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in event planning, with leadership experience preferred
- Proven track record of managing large-scale events successfully
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent budgeting and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends
