Event Project Manager (freelance)

About This Role

We are looking for a  Freelance Project Manager with strong experience in events  to support the planning and execution of multiple projects. This role requires someone highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing fast-paced event environments from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of events (planning → production → delivery)
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and work plans
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and partners
• Oversee logistics, permits, and operational requirements
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to standard
• Conduct regular follow-ups with stakeholders to maintain progress
• Identify risks and proactively solve issues before they escalate
• Support on-ground event execution when required

Requirements

• Minimum  5+ years of project management experience in events
• Proven experience managing  large-scale events, exhibitions, or activations
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-up discipline
• Proficient in  project management tools
• Fluent in English and Arabic

• Location:  Riyadh / On-site as required
