LES Qatar is seeking an experienced Event Production & Electrical Technician to join our operations team in Doha.
This position plays a key role in supporting live events, exhibitions, and temporary installations by ensuring all technical and electrical equipment is prepared, maintained, and deployed to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will be involved in equipment preparation, on-site technical support, power distribution systems, warehouse coordination, and inventory management, helping deliver projects safely and efficiently across Qatar.
Main Duties
- Inspect, prepare, test, and maintain event-related electrical and technical equipment.
- Assist with the installation, operation, and removal of equipment for live events and exhibitions.
- Set up temporary power distribution networks, lighting systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults both in the warehouse and on-site.
- Coordinate equipment allocation, tracking, and inventory records.
- Support warehouse logistics, including receiving, packing, loading, and dispatching equipment.
- Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures during project delivery.
Required Qualification
- Previous experience in event production, electrical installations, technical services, or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of temporary power systems, cabling, lighting equipment, and event infrastructure.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Physically capable of working in warehouse environments and event venues.
- Valid Qatar Driving Licence (essential).
Desirable Experience
- Background in events, exhibitions, rental operations, hospitality projects, or fit-out environments.
- Experience using inventory management or equipment tracking systems.
- Forklift certification or practical forklift experience.
- Familiarity with event production workflows and technical logistics.
