• ***ETL Developer:***
• The ETL Developer is responsible for the full data pipeline from Core Banking through to the centralised RDBMS, the technical backbone of the CASA Covered Card Scorecard system. the developer will build and own all ingestion, transformation, CASA variable calculation, and RDBMS publish jobs.
• The role requires strong hands-on ETL and Spark/SQL skills, deep understanding of data quality frameworks (EDS), and experience in regulated financial data environments.
• ***Key Responsibilities:***
• Design and build Informatica PowerCenter ingestion pipelines for all identified source tables to the Azure Data Lake Bronze zone, supporting both full initial loads and incremental CDC/batch loads.
• Implement schema drift detection, metadata capture, parameterization for reusability across environments and table lists, and idempotency/retry logic.
• Develop EDS Data Quality checks at ingress (completeness, validity, referential integrity) with alerting dashboards; produce reconciliation reports vs. ETHIX source counts and totals.
• Build Silver-zone transformation logic on Cloudera CDP using Spark: CASA variable calculations including window functions, aggregations, date logic, currency normalization, product hierarchy mapping, customer de-dup, and survivorship rules.
• Develop and maintain the CASA Variables Catalog: name, definition, formula, grain, data type, source lineage, DQ rules, and business owner per variable (60+ variables).
• Build unit tests for transformation logic and produce reconciliation reports against sample business expected outcomes or legacy/manual calculations.
• Design target RDBMS schema (entities, PKs, surrogate keys, indexes, constraints, partitioning strategy) and produce DDL scripts with deployment guides.
• Develop Informatica publish jobs (merge/upsert strategies) from Gold zone to centralized RDBMS with performance tuning (batch size, indexing, statistics maintenance).
• Integrate ETL pipelines into CI/CD (build, unit test, security scan, deploy, rollback) and support CAB approval process for production deployments.
• Produce operational run-books for ingestion, transformation, and RDBMS load jobs; participate in Knowledge Transfer sessions.

***Required Experience & Skills:***

• 3+ years hands-on Informatica PowerCenter (mappings, sessions, workflows, parameter files, CDC connectors); Informatica Cloud (IICS) familiarity a plus.
• Solid experience with ADLS Gen2 zone design (Bronze/Silver/Gold Medallion architecture), Azure Purview for lineage/cataloguing, and Azure-based orchestration.
• Proven experience with Cloudera CDP, Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala), Hive, and Impala for large-scale data transformation and CASA-type variable computation.
• Familiarity with enterprise data quality frameworks; experience implementing DQ rules (completeness, validity, uniqueness, referential integrity) with alerting and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL); experience with DDL design, merge strategies, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Experience with dimensional and relational data modelling; familiarity with SCD, surrogate keys, audit columns, and data lineage documentation.
• Experience in financial services data (CASA accounts, transaction data, core banking extracts); understanding of credit scoring variable construction preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ETL (build, deploy, rollback); familiarity with Git, JIRA, and change management processes (CAB).
