We are looking for a motivated Junior Architect to join our team and grow with us.
The Role
This is a hands-on, dual-function position — split equally between office design work and active site presence.
You will support project cost estimation, procurement & tracking from concept through handover, working directly with our Project Engineers and management team on live fit-out projects across all sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for joinery and interior fit-out projects.
- Analyze construction drawings and specifications to determine material and labor requirements.
- Collect and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Assist in tender and bid preparation, including cost breakdowns and submission documents.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to meet budgets and deadlines.
- Monitor project costs and work within budget, providing cost-saving solutions when needed.
Requirements
- - **Experience:** **Minimum of 3 years of (UAE ) experience is MUST** in estimating and procurement within the Joinery & Fit-Out industry in the UAE.
- - **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of **cutting lists**, materials, and technical aspects of joinery and fit-out work.
- - **Proficiency**: Experience with estimation software, MS Excel, and other tools commonly used in the industry.
- - **Detail-Oriented:** Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications to generate precise estimates and material requirements.
- - **Communication:** Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- - **Proven Track Record:** Applicants must provide **proof of previous projects** they have worked on, including estimated costs, quantities, and the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
- - **Educational Background:** Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
