Responsibilities
- Analyze quantities from specifications, drawings, materials, and manpower requirements.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements from proposals and related documents.
- Prepare bills of quantities using contractual measurement methods and client quality standards.
- Estimate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and other project resources.
- Obtain quotations for timber, boards, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes, and outsourced items; follow up with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier prices, select cost-effective options that meet quality standards, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and develop long-term vendor relationships.
- Attend meetings to understand client needs, advise on project optimization, and build lasting client relationships.
Key requirements
- Joinery project experience is mandatory, including kitchen cabinets, doors, or wall cladding.
- 10–12 years of experience in the UAE.
- A driving licence is mandatory.
