Responsibilities
- Commission, deliver, and support acceptance of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects.
- Troubleshoot battery containers and cabinets, including fire suppression, liquid cooling, DC, auxiliary AC, and BMS communication systems.
- Assist with PCS and EMS commissioning and support site issue analysis, fault diagnosis, corrective actions, and issue closure.
- Participate in SAT, grid connection testing, project acceptance, and customer training.
- Track commissioning issues to closure and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules.
- Follow EHS requirements during all commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- More than 5 years of experience in electrical equipment commissioning, energy projects, or related industries.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, energy storage, photovoltaic or power systems, BMS, PCS, EMS, and industrial communication technologies.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and communication topology drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software.
- Fluent English for daily work and site communication; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required.
- Willingness to travel extensively and undertake long-term overseas project-site assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of BESS grid connection, substation equipment, and power plant delivery procedures.
- Experience in BESS, photovoltaic, or wind power projects.
- Low-voltage or high-voltage electrical certification or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience on international projects or in multicultural environments.
