Overview
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company EHS standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
- Organize safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Monitor workplace conditions and recommend improvements to enhance safety performance.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government authorities on EHS matters.
- Maintain EHS records, permits, and documentation.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of EHS experience, preferably in construction, energy, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of local EHS regulations and international standards.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
