Salary
Range: AED 12,000 – AED 18,000 per month (depending on experience and certification)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ASHRAE Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Analyse energy consumption using utility data, BMS trends, and system performance evaluation.
- Identify and develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for HVAC systems, electrical systems, lighting, and building automation systems.
- Prepare technical reports including energy audit reports, savings calculations, and feasibility analysis.
- Develop Measurement and Verification (M&V) plans in accordance with IPMVP guidelines.
- Support implementation of energy efficiency retrofit projects and performance verification.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Engineering.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is mandatory.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in energy audits, ESCO projects, or sustainability consulting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hotels, commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, or large commercial facilities.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, IPMVP protocols, and energy modelling tools.
