Role overview

Acumatica administration and finance

• Administer Acumatica configuration, user access, security, workflows, and module settings.
• Design Finance solutions using Generic Inquiries, Business Events, push notifications, custom reports, and approval workflows.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, project accounting, billing, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Define requirements with Finance, document processes, deliver enhancements, and resolve platform issues.
• Validate configurations in test before production and ensure appropriate approval for changes to shared systems.

Procurement and integrations

• Improve procurement functions including vendor management, requisitions, purchase orders, and Concur-Acumatica integrations.
• Configure and test project-governed goods and services procurement workflows; support discovery, requirements, training, and rollout.
• Own operational triage of the SAP Concur–Acumatica integration, including invoice processing, field mapping, and exceptions.
• Monitor integrations, investigate root causes, coordinate resolution, and document architecture, mappings, data flows, and changes.
• Support adjacent Host-to-Host banking, BambooHR HR sync, and ADF data pipelines to Power BI.

Upgrades and governance

• Coordinate Acumatica upgrades, including customization risk assessment, validation, rollout, and post-upgrade stabilization.
• Use the Finance Change Delivery Process and JIRA for change approval and evidence.
• Maintain documentation of configuration, customizations, and governance decisions.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on Acumatica administration experience across Finance and adjacent modules; direct Acumatica experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on SAP Concur experience in invoice processing, AP workflows, or system administration.
• Experience with Acumatica major-version upgrades, risk assessment, test validation, and rollout.
• Hands-on experience with Acumatica Generic Inquiries, Business Events, push notifications, and approval workflow configuration.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience across Acumatica Finance, Projects, and Procurement functionality is preferred.
• ERP integrations with or without middleware such as Celigo are preferred.
• Power BI or similar ERP-connected BI/reporting tools and professional services, CRO, or life sciences experience are preferred.
• Acumatica Business Consultant, Advanced Financials, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred; other listed Acumatica certifications are assets.
