About This Role

The

Senior IT Program Manager – ERP & Complex Transformation

is accountable for the

end-to-end delivery of large-scale ERP and enterprise technology transformation programs

, from initiation through stabilization and benefits realization.

The role leads

multi-stream, multi-year programs

covering ERP platforms, enterprise applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity workstreams.

It ensures disciplined governance, financial control, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and organizational readiness across business and IT.

The position operates at a

senior managerial level

, translating enterprise strategy into executable programs and ensuring outcomes are delivered safely, predictably, and sustainably.

Program Leadership & End-to-End Delivery (30%)

  • Own end-to-end delivery of ERP and complex enterprise transformation programs, with full accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and outcomes.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and workstreams under a single transformation roadmap, ensuring integrated planning, dependency management, and critical path control.
  • Drive delivery across the full lifecycle, from business case approval through design, build, test, cutover, hypercare, and transition to operations.
  • Establish and enforce disciplined delivery standards, including RAID management, issue escalation, change control, and stage-gate governance.

ERP & Enterprise Applications Leadership (20%)

  • Lead ERP implementation, modernization, or re-platforming initiatives (e.g., Oracle, SAP, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Ramco, AMOS, or equivalent).
  • Ensure end-to-end business process alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Maintenance, Production, Projects, HR, and related domains.
  • Oversee enterprise integration strategy (APIs, middleware/iPaaS, data flows) in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Stakeholder & Governance Management (15%)

  • Manage executive stakeholders and steering committees, providing clear, concise reporting on progress, risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
  • Align cross-functional leaders on priorities, scope boundaries, dependencies, and change impacts.
  • Facilitate timely decision-making by framing options, impacts, and recommendations with clear accountability.
  • 4.

Commercial, Vendor & Partner Management (15%)

  • Lead system integrator and vendor governance, including selection support, contract oversight, SOW management, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage third-party partners to ensure delivery quality, contractual compliance, and accountability.
  • Own program financial control, including budget planning, forecasting, invoice validation, change requests, and scope-to-cost decisions.

Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance (10%)

  • Own and maintain the program RAID register, ensuring proactive risk identification, mitigation, and escalation.
  • Ensure testing strategies and execution (SIT, UAT, performance, security) meet agreed quality and readiness gates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, cybersecurity policies, data governance standards, and regulatory obligations.
  • 6.

Organizational Change, Readiness & Adoption (5%)

  • Partner with business change and HR leads to deliver training, communications, role readiness, and process redesign.
  • Ensure operational readiness through cutover planning, runbooks, hypercare governance, and transition to steady-state operations.
  • Track benefits realization and ensure outcomes are measurable and aligned with approved business cases.
  • 7.

Team Leadership & Capability Building (5%)

  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage program managers, project managers, workstream leads, and vendor teams.
  • Build a high-performance delivery culture emphasizing accountability, transparency, and disciplined execution.
