Job Summary
The ERP & IT Systems Specialist is responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to employees, maintaining hardware and software systems, and administering, customizing, and supporting the Odoo ERP system.
The role combines IT operations, system development, ERP administration, and business process automation to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable technology services across the organization.
1. Odoo ERP Management
- Administer, maintain, and support the Odoo ERP system.
- Configure and customize Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Develop reports, workflows, dashboards, and automation within Odoo.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo-related issues.
- Liaise with the ERP vendor and implementation partners to coordinate system development, issue resolution, module enhancements, user requirements, upgrades, and ongoing technical support.
- Train users and provide ongoing support for Odoo modules.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize business processes.
2. Programming & System Development
- Develop and maintain custom applications, integrations, and automation tools.
- Create APIs and integrations between Odoo and third-party systems.
- Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
- Maintain technical documentation for developed systems, integrations, and processes.
3. IT Infrastructure & Technical Support
- Provide technical support to employees and departments.
- Manage computers, printers, biometric devices, IP phones, and networking equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data security.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery procedures, and cybersecurity measures.
- Troubleshoot network, internet, email, and system-related issues.
4. Systems Administration
- Manage company servers, cloud services, and business applications.
- Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, and user accounts.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and security.
- Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor system access and maintain compliance with company security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT, systems administration, or ERP support.
- Proven experience with Odoo ERP administration, customization, and user support.
- Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, APIs, and ERP systems.
- Experience with networking, servers, cybersecurity, cloud services, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
