Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ER Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team.
The ER Nurse will play a crucial role in providing immediate and compassionate care to patients in our fast-paced emergency room setting.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, hold a valid RN license, and have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in an emergency room environment.
The ER Nurse will be responsible for efficiently triaging patients, delivering effective treatment, and collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon arrival and effectively prioritize care based on the severity of condition.
- Administer necessary medications, treatments, and interventions to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide clear and concise patient education regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient information, medical history, and interventions in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergent situations, utilizing critical thinking skills to make rapid decisions.
- Assist in resuscitation efforts during life-threatening situations, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an emergency room or critical care setting.
- Proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Exceptional triage skills and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and documentation.
- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
