Front-line production support role for Equities trading and middle-office platforms across the Middle East.
Part of a globally distributed EMEA support function; initial focus is first-line support with collaboration on complex issues.

Responsibilities
- Provide first-line production support for Equities trading and middle-office platforms across the Middle East.
- Serve as the primary contact for traders and business users, troubleshooting live issues to minimize trading disruption.
- Monitor system health, trade flows, and platform performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Support Fidessa and ULLink vendor platforms alongside in-house trading systems; liaise with vendor desks to manage escalations.
- Collaborate with second-line support, development teams, and global colleagues on complex technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend improvements.
- Assist with release cycles, system enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Maintain incident records and contribute to better support processes, monitoring, and documentation.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Proven production or application support experience in an Equities trading environment; live trading desk experience in a time-critical setting is ideal.
- Strong understanding of Equities products, the trade lifecycle, and market flows.
- Hands-on experience supporting front-office trading and/or middle-office systems.
- Solid FIX protocol knowledge, including troubleshooting and message analysis; this is essential.
- Experience in a global or multi-regional support model.
- Excellent communication with traders, middle office, and technical teams.
- Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Willingness to work regionally aligned hours to support market needs.
Preferred Skills
- Fidessa and/or ULLink experience is a bonus.
- Familiarity with local MENA market rules and conventions is a bonus.
- Basic scripting or database knowledge, such as SQL, is a bonus.
