Job Overview

Senior Developer (C11) – KDB+/DevOps Development Track

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL.
• Experience in application development using any modern programming language (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and production support.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience working in financial services or data-intensive applications.

Learning Path

• Prior KDB+/q knowledge is not required.
• Candidate should demonstrate willingness and capability to learn:
  • KDB+/q development
  • DevOps and automation practices
  • Java-based application development (future state)

Ideal Candidate Profile

A strong developer with solid analytical skills and database knowledge, who can be trained on KDB+/q and DevOps technologies. The role is suited for engineers who demonstrate learning agility, ownership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial technology environment.
