Role Description The Equipment Manager at GRUPO CCHH SAC will oversee the lifecycle of company equipment, including inventory, allocation, maintenance planning, and disposal.
This part-time, remote role is responsible for tracking equipment usage, coordinating repairs and service with vendors, and ensuring that all assets are properly documented and compliant with internal policies.
The Equipment Manager will maintain accurate digital records, prepare regular equipment status reports, and support budget planning related to equipment purchases and replacements.
The role also involves collaborating with operations, finance, and project teams to forecast equipment needs, optimize utilization, and minimize downtime.
The individual in this position will continuously improve processes, implement best practices in asset management, and support the adoption of relevant tools or systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in equipment or asset management, including inventory control, tracking, and lifecycle planning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, remote setting.
- Proficiency with digital tools for inventory, spreadsheets, and documentation (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or asset management software).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to assess equipment needs, optimize utilization, and control costs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with maintenance scheduling, vendor management, and basic procurement processes.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate accountability, and maintain accurate, detailed records.
- Prior experience in operations, logistics, construction, or facilities management is preferred.
- Relevant technical or business-related education or certification in logistics, operations management, or a related field is an advantage.
