The Opportunity

Some people see a yard full of equipment, materials, tools, and work waiting to happen.

You see a mission.

Alpha Inc. is looking for a Base Yard Laborer who takes pride in doing the work right, keeping things moving, and leaving the yard better than they found it.

This isn’t a stand-around-and-wait-to-be-told-what-to-do job. You’ll load and unload equipment and materials, organize inventory, keep the yard clean and safe, help with equipment maintenance, transport materials, and jump into the physical work that keeps our crews ready to perform.

You’ll work outside. You’ll get dirty. You’ll lift heavy things. And when the day is done, you’ll be able to look around and see what you accomplished.

If you’re dependable, safety-minded, willing to hustle, and the kind of teammate others can count on, we want to meet you.

About Alpha Inc.

Alpha Inc. is a Hawai?i-grown company working across construction, drilling, energy, equipment, and infrastructure. We take on demanding work that helps build and support the communities we call home.

How we work matters just as much as what we build.

Leading with Heart – Treat people with respect, look out for your crew, and help create a safe and productive workplace.

Strength in Unity – Nobody wins alone. We communicate, help each other, and get the job done as one team.

Alpha Mentality – Take ownership. Solve problems. Work hard. Finish strong.

Those values aren’t wall art around here. They’re how we expect the work to get done.

What You’ll Do

As a Base Yard Laborer, you’ll help keep Alpha’s Equipment operation organized, safe, stocked, and ready for action.

You’ll:

Load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies.

Keep the yard clean and organized using shovels, rakes, power equipment, and other yard tools.

Inspect, organize, and stage equipment and materials so crews can get what they need when they need it.

Help manage yard inventory and keep essential materials stocked and accessible.

Transport materials and equipment to jobsites and vendors as needed.

Handle tools, equipment, and materials according to established safety procedures.

Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of yard equipment.

Identify and help eliminate hazards before they become problems.

Dig, lift, move materials, and tackle other physically demanding work.

Assist with operating heavy machinery under appropriate supervision.

Participate in safety meetings and training.

Step up for other duties assigned by the Equipment Superintendent.

In short: help keep the yard ready so Alpha’s crews can keep moving.

What You Bring

We’re not looking for someone who just checks boxes. We’re looking for someone who shows up ready to contribute.

The role calls for:

A valid Class 4 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds .

Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Comfort performing repetitive and physically demanding work.

Ability to work independently without losing sight of the team.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

A dependable, safety-first approach to the work.

Forklift Certification is preferred.

Just as important: you notice what needs to be done, you take care of equipment and materials like they matter, and your crew knows they can count on you.

What Winning Looks Like

An A Player in this role doesn’t need someone constantly looking over their shoulder.

The yard stays organized. Materials are where they belong. Equipment is handled safely. Hazards get addressed. Crews get the support they need. And when priorities change—as they sometimes do in this business—you adjust and keep moving.

No drama. No shortcuts. No “that’s not my job.”

Bring effort. Bring awareness. Bring pride in the work.

Why Alpha?

Because good laborers aren’t “just labor.”

They’re part of the reason equipment gets where it needs to go, crews stay productive, jobsites keep moving, and everyone gets home safely.

At Alpha, you’ll be part of a team that believes in working hard, looking out for one another, and taking ownership of the result.
