EQ Manager Installation and Maintenance

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Ensure all technical services activities are aligned with the organisation's policies, procedures and standards.
• Develop, evaluate and review technical services procedures and standards and communicate updates or enhancements.
• Prepare and submit equipment inspection schedules to technicians and coordinators and monitor progress.
• Supervise and monitor regular inspection of stores' equipment, utilities and facilities, and review equipment warranty terms and conditions.
• Supervise and monitor overall store equipment performance and report deviations to the Director of Equipment.
• Monitor cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending and meet timeliness, reliability and customer satisfaction standards.
• Manage, prioritise and implement service activities to fulfil maintenance contracts and service level agreements.
• Manage service providers through coordinators to ensure response times are met and downtime is reduced.
• Conduct periodic evaluation of service providers and provide positive and corrective feedback.
• Review and approve maintenance work orders performed by service providers and technicians' work orders related to consumable spare parts.
• Select, lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
• Provide direction, prioritise tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of coordinators.

What We Are Looking For

• 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of the organisation's operations.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration is a plus.
