• The position is primarily remote, with a preference for candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes and end-user workflows to understand operations.
• Develop, test, deploy, and evaluate interface solutions and ongoing maintenance needs.
• Configure systems to improve processes, efficiency, and patient safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and mapping issues; develop application and integrated test scripts and thoroughly test builds.
• Provide on-call support based on application needs.
• Work with senior analysts and technical IT staff to implement, upgrade, and support software systems.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers, colleagues, IT staff, and end users; tailor presentations and share knowledge.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the supported Epic application and its integration with other enterprise modules.

Required qualifications

• Epic Orders build experience is required.
• Epic Orders certification or accreditation is required.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service orientation; collaboration with IT staff and end users is important.
• Basic understanding of the Windows environment and willingness to learn, support, and troubleshoot supporting technologies.
• Critical thinking, follow-through, and attention to detail.

Preferred qualification

• A bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
