Epic Business Analyst III - Hospital Coding

Job summary

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of IT work experience or three years of hospital or healthcare organization business analysis experience; alternatively, high school diploma or GED and nine years of IT experience.
• Proficiency or certification in at least one Epic application is required.
• Experience supporting an electronic medical record system and healthcare information technology is required.
• Understand functional processes and business rules for applications being implemented or supported.

Additional qualifications

• One year of project management experience, preferably on an Epic project.
• Hospital or clinic setting experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, research, and statistical skills are listed.

Schedule

• The work schedule includes on-call eligibility.

Workplace

Compensation

• Pay range is $101,587.20–$132,100.80; structured salary data specifies a yearly cadence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational interests of assigned functional areas are represented in the Information Systems Department’s day-to-day operations.
• Support Epic applications deployed at Harris Health.
• Analyze functional processes and business rules for applications being implemented or supported.
